Hey Dr. Data, My students have been working on coordinate graphs and converting in the metric system. Do you know of any good links I could tag for my students? Thank you for your help - Ms. Norris in Manhattan!
Hi again Dr. Data, I thought of another question that I must ask you!! What ideas do you have for learning about probability? We are working on it and the kids want something fun to use for practice! Thank you for your help! Ms. Norris in Manhattan - Go Wildcats!
I am making 20 necklaces for Valentines Day gifts. The necklaces are made with satin cording. Eight of the necklaces need to be 18 inches long, and 12 need to be 22 inches long. The cording comes in 3-yard rolls. How many rolls of cording will I need to buy to make 20 necklaces?
I was wanting to buy every student at IES a Valentine's Day gift. I don't want to spend more than $45.00. How much can I spend on each student's gift if there are 135 students in our building? Thanks for your help!
Could you explain the different types of triangles based on the number of sides and the types of angles.

Hi, Dr. Data,
ReplyDeleteI have trouble knowing how to multiple and divide negative numbers with positive numbers. How do I know if my answer should be positive or negative?
Thanks!
